Setting up Freeola Voice on the ZoiPer App

Welcome to the Freeola Customer Support Guides Pages. This guide is intended to give an overview of using the Freeola Voice service through the ZoiPer Mobile App. For more internet help topics please visit our main Support Page.
If you do not wish to use a VoIP service through a traditional handset or would prefer to access this via your mobile device you can download and make use of an app that will allow you to access your Freeola VoIP service wherever you are.
One of these such apps, ZoiPer, is fully compatible with all Freeola Voice subscriptions. Direct links to Google Play (Android devices) and the Apple Store are provided below:
You will require your VoIP Account information before starting this process. If you do not have this to hand, please confirm your Freeola Voice Settings in your MyFreeola Control Panel before continuing.
If you have not done so already, download the ZoiPer App from your chosen App Store (Android - Apple). Once downloaded, open the App.
In order to configure your account in the software you will be required to open the Navigation Drawer then select Settings, Accounts then tap the Add account (+) button.
The following page will ask for your Freeola Voice Account information (which can be confirmed from the managing MyFreeola Control Panel, if required).
Username - Enter your VoIP Account Number/Username.
Password - Enter your VoIP Password.
On the next screen, you will be prompted for the service hostname.
Hostname or Provider - sip.voip123.co.uk.
The app will then offer the option to opt-in for an Authentication username or an Outbound proxy. This box should not be ticked, so select Skip to continue.
A test will now be run on the details you have provided and, if entered correctly, SIP UDP should be shown as Green. Select this option to continue and finish.
Your Freeola Voice account is now created and ready to use!
