Voip Setup on Zyxel VMG8623-T50B

We tested this router with Sipgate settings (see below).

You will first need to log in to the router via its IP address on your network (this will likely be http://192.168.1.1 unless you have changed the address).  Username to login will be admin Password will be the Login Password shown on the rear of the router ( unless you have changed this to your own).

Once you have logged in go to then menu in the top right of the screen (three horizontal bars).  Select Voip then SIP from the menu.  Select Add New Provider (or Modify depending on whether you've already added one)

Enter SIP service Provider Name (Sipgate in this case)

SIP Proxy Server address (sipgate.co.uk)

SIP Registrar Server address (sipgate.co.uk)

SIP Service Domain (sipgate.co.uk)

Click the chevron pointing down to expand the page and go to

Outbound Proxy Address and enter (sipgate.co.uk)

For all other settings the default settings should work.

Go to bottom of page and click OK

Go to SIP account Tab

There should be an account there for you to modify

In Sip Account Number enter your SIP-ID

In UserName enter your SIP-ID

In Password enter your Voip Password

For all other settings the default settings should work.
