Welcome to the Freeola Internet customer support pages. This guide is designed to explain the options within MyFreeola that allow you to customise your Freeola Voice home VoIP service with additional features. For more internet help topics please visit our main Support Page.

Through the Freeola Voice section of your MyFreeola account you can enable, disable and modify specific features of your service. This guide aims to outline these features, and the options available when using them.

To start, log into the MyFreeola Control Panel that manages your Freeola Voice service and select Freeola Voice (VoIP) then Voice Settings & Features from the left-hand menu - this will open the Freeola Voice Overview. Click Settings next to your package, then scroll to the bottom of the page to the Additional Settings section.

Call & Voicemail Settings
  1. The options within this section control Call Waiting and Voicemail.

  2. If you wish to activate the Call Waiting feature (i.e. you will be notified if somebody else is trying to call you when you are already on a call) then tick the option Call Waiting Enabled.

  3. To make use of the Freeola Voice Voicemail feature, tick the Voicemail Active box.

Once active you can access your mailbox by dialling *95 from your handset.

    Please Note
If your telephone handset includes a voicemail feature which you would like to make use of, you should DISABLE the Voicemail feature within MyFreeola.
  4. The fields following this option allow you to customise this further:

    • Set ring timeout in seconds - How long the line will ring unanswered before sending the caller to Voicemail.

    • Voicemail PIN - Enter a 4 digit PIN to prevent unauthorised access to your Voicemail messages.

    • Notification Email - Entering an email address in this field will generate an email message to that location every time you receive a voicemail.

    • Time & Date - Tick this box to hear the Time and Date that the message was left on playback.

    • Caller ID - Tick this box to hear the Caller ID of messages on playback.

  5. Once you have made your choices, click Update to save.

Call Forwarding Settings
  1. It is possible to forward all calls into your number to a different number - this can be another VoIP service, a traditional landline or mobile number.

    Please Note
Forwarding your incoming calls to another number will result in call charges as if you were making calls to the number, these will be charged to your VoIP account or taken from your monthly minutes (as appropriate).
  2. Call Forwarding can be scheduled for specific times, in specific situations and with specific actions. You can customise your Call Forwarding using the drop-down menus provided:

    • Time Interval - This field sets when you want the forwarding to be active: Always, Public Holidays England/Wales or Public Holidays Scotland.

    • If Call Status Is: - If you only want the calls to forward in specific circumstances, this field allows you to specify these. You can forward Any call, or only calls when the line is Busy or Unanswered or if the Call Fails completely.

    • Action: - The action you would like calls that meet the above criteria to take: Forward will forward all calls to a specified number, Follow Me will ring your line AND the number specified and Send To Voicemail will divert the call to your Voicemail (if active).

    • Preserve Caller ID - Tick to display the Caller ID of the caller on the receiving device.

  3. In the example below, we have enabled forwarding for England/Wales Public Holidays that will forward all calls received on these days to a mobile telephone number.

  2. This section of the page will provide details of this App and confirm App User Details (that are created and set-up through the App itself).

  3. If you wish to remove one of the Users, click the Delete Linked User option next to their information.
