Setting up Freeola Voice on the Verticall App

Welcome to the Freeola Customer Support Guides Pages. This guide is intended to give an overview of using the Freeola Voice service through the Verticall Mobile App. For more internet help topics please visit our main Support Page.

If you do not wish to use a VoIP service through a traditional handset or would prefer to access this via your mobile device you can download and make use of an app that will allow you to access your Freeola VoIP service wherever you are.

This can be achieved using an app called Verticall which you can find by search within your chosen app store. Direct links to Google Play (Android devices) and the Apple Store are provided below:

In order to set up the App, you will need an active Freeola Voice service, access to the MyFreeola Control Panel that administers it and a compatible device.

Using Freeola Voice with the Verticall App
Creating a User
    1. Before you are able to use the app, you will first need to create a User. To start, log into the managing MyFreeola Control Panel.

    2. From the left-hand navigation menu select Voice Settings & Features from under the Freeola Voice (VoIP) heading.

    3. The main page content will now update to show details of your Freeola Voice package(s), your Line Number, Number Port Status (if applicable) and options to view/change the Settings, view your Call History or Cancel the service. To continue with setting up a User, click Settings.

    4. On the following page, scroll to the bottom and click Show Additional Settings, then scroll again to the section headed Freeola App Settings. If this section is not automatically expanded, click the downward arrow to maximise this section.

    5. You will now be given three fields to complete:

  • Email Address - A contact email address for the User, please ensure that this is a valid, active, email address.

  • Username - A Username for the User. This must be between 6 and 50 characters in length.

  • Password - The password needed to add the User to the App. This password needs to be at least 8 characters long and include a capital letter, a number and special character.

  1. Once you have completed all of these fields click Create. The User information will be displayed on screen, either leave this where you can see it, or take a note of this, as this will be required for the next stage.

Setting Up Verticall
  1. If you have not done so already, download the Verticall App from your chosen App Store (Android - Apple). Once downloaded, open the App.

  2. When prompted to log in, enter the Username and Password generated within MyFreeola - as described above. After entering, select Log in.

  3. If prompted, select an extension, then Continue.

  4. You will now be taken to the dialling screen, which will allow you to start calling, and receiving calls, using your Freeola Voice service.

  5. If you wish to view/call your contacts, select the Contacts option. The Calls menu option will show you a list of calls, both incoming and outgoing.
