VoIP Secure Calling (TLS/RSTP)

Welcome to the Freeola Customer Support Guides Pages. This guide is intended to give an overview of using Secure (TLS/RSTP) call through the Freeola Voice service. For more internet help topics please visit our main Support Page.
If your handset, softphone, router or ATA supports TLS secure calling you may be able to initiate connection to our VoIP service with encryption enabled in order to increase call security.
The settings below are commonly needed to configure secure calling on Freeola Voice:
SIP server: | sip.voip123.co.uk |
Outbound proxy: | sipws.voip123.co.uk |
SIP transport/Network Transport: | TLS |
Secure audio/RTP (SRTP mode): | Yes/Required/Forced |
In addition to the settings above you may need to change the following settings (optional):
SIP URI Scheme (SIPS or SIP): | sip |
TLS Port: | 5061 |
SDES: | Enabled |
These settings, along with your SIP credentials, are also listed within your MyFreeola account.
