Welcome to the Freeola Internet customer support pages. This guide is designed to help with changing the the PHP parameters and limits on your Freeola SSD Hosting website. For more internet help topics please visit our main Support Page.
When trying to add a new theme to Wordpress, update your Content Management System (CMS) or install a new plug you may encounter errors by hitting server size and load limits.
Some of these limits can be changed quickly and easily from within the cPanel software provided with SSD Hosting subscriptions.
While some of these limits can be set to very high levels, we would strongly recommend limiting these values only to the levels needed, as setting these too high could cause loading and display issues on your website.
To start, log into your MyFreeola Control Panel. Once logged in, expand the Website & Hosting menu option, then click SSD Hosting.
On the following page, click Quick Login next to your SSD Hosting subscription to immediately be taken to the cPanel Homepage.
From the cPanel menu, scroll down to the Software section and click Select PHP Version.
On the following page, select the Options tab.
You will now be provided a series of parameters and limits which can be altered. Any change you make will be saved and applied immediately.
Typically, most issues are caused by limits set against the post_max_size or upload_max_filesize variables. However, whatever is providing your error should specify exactly what settings need to be adjusted. If you wish to revert your changes, each option you changed will offer a Reset to Default option on this same page.
Once you have made all of the required changes, you can simply navigate away from this page, or close your window/tab.
