If you are using the Freeola dial-up service, the Dial-up telephone number can be set to 0845 123 2035. The username and password for this service can be Anything.

In order for Windows to save your password so that it does not need to be entered each time, you should tick the box labelled Remember this password.

The Connection name refers to the name that your dial-up connection will be listed as on your computer and should be set to a name unique to this connection, for example Freeola Dial-up.

If you have multiple accounts on your computer and would like other users to be able to access this connection, you may wish to tick the Allow other people to user this connection option to make this connection available to all users of this computer.

  7. If you then press connect, your computer will attempt to dial a connection to the Internet.

Freeola PAYG dial-up will work on compatible hardware 'out of the box', i.e. you do not need to pre-pay to use this service. If you are having issues accessing this, I would first advise double-checking your dial-up modem is installed correctly, and double-check the information you are entering into the relevant fields.

Hi brooo,

Unfortunately all of our dial-up services are for UK-based customers only. If you are looking to use a dial-up service from another country, I can only advise you contact local providers for assistance.

Freeola is a UK internet service provider offering the best value and extensive free services. Please compare our domain name registration prices or check out our UK high speed internet access. If you are in business please see examples of our free hosting at Freeola.com/customer-sites.
