Freeola Superfast and FTTP services all feature a flexible, no contract term commitment, with just a 30 day notice period.
£12 back each month
Freeola offers unlimited, high-quality email, webmail, web hosting and design tools. With every Broadband connection, we'll give you £12 back every month, to spend on a pick 'n' mix of the services you want. More info .
Static IP address
Unlike some large ISPs, who will charge you extra, our broadband tariffs come with a free, Static IPv4 Address. Handy in case you ever want to run internet-accessible services from your connection in the future.
Need more public IPv4 address? No problem! For a small additional monthly fee you can have 4 or 8 additional addresses assigned to your connection. See our price list for more information or contact our friendly Sales & Support team.
No Port Blocking or Traffic Shaping
At Freeola, we don't port block, traffic shape or police our networks in any way. So surf the web, watch online videos and stream online music and movies to your heart's content, without having to keep an eye on your data usage.
SOGEA Superfast Fibre - No Line Rental Required
Traditionally it has been necessary to have phone line rental in order to have an FTTC broadband connection. Now, you can order our 'data only' broadband service and save money on your line rental.
The broadband will still be served over your 'copper pair' telephone line but the analog voice part of the phone line will be removed along with the telephone number and you will be billed for a single service (the broadband).
If you require the ability to make and receive phone calls then you can sign up to Freeola Voice, a cheap home VoIP service. VoIP is telephone service which uses your internet connection rather than a copper telephone line.
Full Fibre (FTTP) - No Line Rental Required
Full fibre broadband does not rely on a phone line to operate, it's fibre all the way to your premises. No more line rental charges!
If you require the ability to make and receive phone calls then you can sign up to Freeola Voice, a cheap home VoIP service. VoIP is telephone service which uses your internet connection rather than a copper telephone line.
Discounted Routers
If you need a broadband router, you can pick up one of our pre-configured broadband routers at a discounted price when you sign up. All you should need to do is plug it in to get yourself online, no extra setup required.
Switching to Freeola Broadband
Moving to Freeola broadband from another provider is free in a majority of cases.
For new connections on some tariffs, such as our Full Fibre and G.fast tariffs, there is a small activation fee, this is shown during the sign-up process.
Freeola Broadband Support
Our friendly, UK-based Support staff are available to help you with you broadband problems and queries 7 days a week. Please see our support opening times.
You can contact us by calling 01376 55 60 60, sending us a Support Ticket or via our Live Chat.
Broadband Availability
Our broadband services are available across the UK. Our Unlimited Fibre Broadband is available on approximately 96% of telephone lines and work is ongoing to increase coverage further.
DDoS Protection
Our Unlimited Broadband tariff is protected by automatic Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) filtering. This prevents large volumes of malicious internet traffic from targeting internet connections in an attempt to stop them working or stop services that use the connection from operating properly.
IPv6 Addresses
Available on our all out Unlimited Broadband tariffs.
Future proof your connection.
IPv6 is the successor to IPv4, the Internet addressing protocol. Due to the growth of the internet, IPv4 address are running out and IPv6 address are the solution to this.
For the technically minded we allocate a /56 IPv6 address block.
Superfast Fibre Contract
30 day contract on our Superfast Fibre tariffs.
Unlike most other providers we don't tie you in to 18 or 24 month contracts. New activations and migrations on our Superfast (SOGEA) Fibre services have a 30 day contract.
Broadband Activation
Some of our broadband packages have an activation fee, which is a one-off up front payment to bring your service online.
Where possible we keep these fees to a minimum and only charge you what our suppliers charge us.
At Freeola we respect your privacy.
When you submit your postcode and street address we pass these details securely to our partners as necessary to check the availability of broadband services at the given premises.
We will not contact you unless you place an order with us or if you ask us for information regarding our broadband services.
Availability data will be retained for the purpose of processing your order and fulfilling your contract. If you do not place an order the personal information you provide will be securely deleted after 30 days.

Average Speeds
Average speeds are based on the download speeds of at least 50% of our customer base, at peak-times (8pm to 10pm).
Your broadband speed may vary throughout the day, this can be caused by a number of internal and external factors including:
-
The length of the telephone line from the exchange to your premises (for ADSL broadband), or from the green cabinet (PCP) to your premises (FTTC).
-
Electrical interference from other devices close to the connection.
-
Connecting via WiFi rather than a direct cable connection over Ethernet.
-
Sharing the connection with others in the premises.
-
Peak time congestion - you may experience slower speeds during the evening when more people are connecting.
-
Connecting via extension wiring rather than a direct connection to the master socket.
-
Poor quality or faulty internal wiring.
-
A fault on the broadband line.
-
Adverse weather conditions.
