Here are brief instructions for configuring Outlook Express 5 on a Mac to work with Freeola E-mail Freedom. These instructions should be relevant to version 5 of Outlook Express on a Mac.
To be able to Send & Receive e-mail with Freeola E-mail Freedom, you will first of all have to make some really easy changes to your E-mail Client's settings.
Load Outlook Express 5.
From the menu bar select Tools, then Accounts.
If it is not selected already click on the Mail tab which will list all the e-mail accounts currently set up on this program.
Open the Properties for the relevant E-mail Account.
In the new smaller window that opens click on the Servers tab.
In the Outgoing mail server field type smtp-auth.freeola.net.
On the same window under the Outgoing Mail Server section, make sure the My Server Requires Authentication option is checked. This will make a Settings button available, however this can be ignored at this time.
Click OK and your e-mail address should now be ready to use from any internet connection!
