Configuring Windows Mail to work with Email Freedom

Welcome to the Freeola internet customer support pages. This guide is designed to help with setting up your Freeola email address on Windows Mail and assumes that you have already configured your email client for use with Freeola email and would like to amend the settings for use with Freeola Email Freedom.

To be able to Send & Receive e-mail with Freeola E-mail Freedom, you will first of all have to make some basic changes to your E-mail Client's settings.

 

  1. Load the Microsoft Windows Mail program.

  2. From the menu bar across the top of the program select Tools, then Accounts.

  3. Click on your e-mail account from the onscreen list then select Properties.

  4. In the new window click on the Servers tab across the top.

  5. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Field type smtp-auth.freeola.net.

  6. Under the Outgoing Mail section, please ensure that the My Server Requires Authentication box is checked.

  7. Once you click OK your e-mail will be ready to use from any internet connection!
