Welcome to the Freeola Internet customer support pages. This guide is designed to help with setting up your Freeola e-mail address on Incredimail 2. For more internet help topics please visit our main Support Page.
If you do not already have Incredimail 2 installed, you should be able to download it from the Incredimail website. Alternatively, if you would prefer to use another e-mail client, you may be able to find a relevant guide on the Freeola E-mail Support Guides page.
Please Note
If you are using the EmailPro service, please see the EmailPro variation of this guide as the settings and options are slightly different.
Before you start, you should make a note of the e-mail address that you would like to set up as well as the associated sr number and password. This information can be obtained by logging in to your MyFreeola account and selecting View/Edit E-mail Addresses from the left hand navigation. You will then be shown a list of e-mail addresses and their login details.
Load Incredimail 2 from the Windows Start Menu.
If this is the first time that you have run Incredimail 2, you should now be shown a license agreement for using Incredimail 2. In order to proceed you will need to read through and accept this agreement by pressing I Accept.
Alternatively, if this is not the first time that you have loaded Incredimail 2 you should select Tools from the top menu, then Email Accounts then Add. You should then skip to step 4.

After the license agreement you will be asked to provide your gender and country. You will need to enter these and press Next to continue.

You will then be asked whether you would like to Automatically configure settings. This automatically imports your setting from other email clients that you have installed. As this is a new setup, select Let me configure settings myself and press Next.

Incredimail will ask for you to select your account type. As Freeola is not listed, you will need to select Other.

You will then need to enter your name, email address and password into the boxes provided. Your email address and password should have already been obtained from within your MyFreeola Account and your name will be the name that you would like your e-mails to say they're from when they are received. Once this form is complete press Next to continue.

On the next step you will be asked to enter some details about Freeola's servers. The incoming mail server type is POP3 and the incoming mail server is mail.freeola.net.
The outgoing mail server settings will vary depending on whether you are connecting using a Freeola Internet connection or if you are using the Freeola Email Freedom service which allows you to send messages from any Internet connection. If you have Freeola broadband in your MyFreeola account, you are provided with Freeola E-mail Freedom at no extra cost.
If you are connecting to the Internet using a Freeola Internet connection, the outgoing mail server should be set to smtp.freeola.net.
Please Note: This SMTP server will only work on Freeola Internet connections. If you have signed up for Freeola Email Freedom please click here for setting up your SMTP server details or, alternatively, scroll to the bottom of this page for instructions on the additional changes required.
Once you have entered the server details, press Next to continue.
Incredimail will now try to create your account however you will encounter an error as a username has not yet been entered. When you encounter this error, press Skip to create your account.

Now press Get Mail to cause Incredimail to check for new messages.

Incredimail should get as far as authorising, then ask for your username and password. You should enter your username into the box provided and press OK. Your Username will be the username which you noted down previously and should begin with sr. If you do not already have this information, it can be obtained from within your MyFreeola Account.
Incredimail should now be configured and ready for use with your Freeola email address.
Information for Email Freedom Customers
If you have signed up for our Email Freedom service you will be required to enter 'smtp-auth.freeola.net' as your outgoing mail server. This server also requires you to select My Server Requires Authentication in order to function correctly, you will also be required to select Use Same Settings As Incoming Server or re-enter your e-mail username and password when prompted.
Some internet providers also restrict the use of certain ports for sending messages. Because of this we would also advise entering the Advanced section of your e-mail account set-up and changing the SMTP port from 25 to 2025.
