E-Mail: Setting Up Microsoft Windows Mail (Vista)
Here are brief instructions for setting up Microsoft Windows Mail to work with a Freeola e-mail address.
1. Load Windows Mail from the start menu.
2. From the menu bar select 'Tools', then 'Accounts'. In the window that opens, click the 'Add' button.
3. Click 'E-Mail Account' and then select 'Next'
4. Enter the name you wish to show on outgoing e-mails and click 'Next'.
5. Enter the Freeola e-mail address you wish to add and click 'Next'.
6. Type 'mail.freeola.net' into the POP3 incoming mail server name box and 'smtp.freeola.net' into the SMTP outgoing mail server name box. Click 'Next'.
7. In the 'Account Name' field, type in your Freeola E-Mail User Name and in the 'Password' field enter your Freeola E-Mail Password. If you do not have this information, visit MyFreeola and click on 'View/Edit E-mail Addresses' in the left-hand navigation section. Make a note of the information for the relevant e-mail address. Your Freeola E-mail User Name will look something like this: 'sr0123456-001'. Click 'Finish'.
8. Your e-mail address is now set up in Windows Mail ready to send and receive e-mail.
