E-Mail: Setting Up Microsoft Outlook.
Here are brief instructions for setting up Microsoft Outlook to work with a Freeola e-mail address. These instructions should be relevant to all current versions of Microsoft Outlook. There may be slight visual/wording differences between versions but the underlying procedure is the same.
1. Load Microsoft Outlook.
2. From the menu bar select 'Tools', then 'E-mail Accounts'. In the window that opens, select 'Add A New E-mail Account'. Then click 'NEXT'.
3. For the server type select 'POP3'. Then click 'NEXT'.
The next 3 stages are all under the same section on Microsoft Outlook.
4. User Information - Enter the name you want to appear on outgoing e-mails from you in the 'Your Name' field. Example: 'John Smith' or 'Mr J Smith'. Then in the 'E-mail Address' field, enter the e-mail address that you want to add.
5. Logon Information - In the 'Username' field, type in your Freeola E-Mail User Name followed by your Freeola E-Mail Password in the 'Password' field.
6. Server Information - Type 'mail.freeola.net' in the 'Incoming Mail Server (POP3)' field. Then type 'smtp.freeola.net' in the 'Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)' field.
7. Click 'Finish' on the 'E-mail Accounts' window.
8. Your e-mail address is now set up in Microsoft Outlook and is ready to send and receive e-mail. To do so, simply click 'Send/Receive' on the icon menu at the top of Microsoft Outlook.
