Email help & support, how to add email addresses to your Freeola account
Please note, if you haven't already signed up to Freeola, please do so before continuing. To add email addresses or set-up web sites at your own domain name or Freeola500 addresses you must be signed up to one of the Freeola services.
Everything to do with email on your Freeola account is administrated via MyFreeola. So whether you wish to add a Freeola500 email address (such as bob@spursfans.com) or add an address at your own domain name (such as myname@mydomain.com) you should use Your Freeola Settings.
To Add a new Freeola500 address:
1. Click on the 'Email Addresses' link.
2. Click the 'Add New E-mail Address' button.
3. If you are asked, choose the option to 'Create an email address at one of the Freeola500 domain names' and click 'Continue'.
4. In section 1. type the first part of the e-mail address you would like to have.
5. In sections 2a. and 2b. choose the second part of your new email address.
6. Section 3. shows the complete email address. If you are happy with it then click 'Continue'.
7. Choose which webspace account you would like the new address to point to. If you need it there is an option to create a new account.
8. Type in the security code into the box provided and click 'Continue'.
9. The final page offers you the chance to review all the appropriate settings and also offers you a walkthrough of how to add your new address into popular e-mail clients should you need it.
10. Click the 'Continue' button and you have now finished. You will now need to add the account to your e-mail client.
To Remove a Freeola500 address:
1. Log into MyFreeola and click on the 'View/Edit E-mail Addresses' link and find the e-mail address you want to delete.
2. Click on the 'Settings & Features' button next to the relevant address.
3. Click the 'Delete this e-mail address' button.
4. If you are sure you wish to delete the account then press the 'OK' button.
5. The email address has now been deleted. Press continue.
To Add a new Domain email address:
1. Log into MyFreeola and click on the 'View/Edit E-mail Addresses' link.
2. Click the 'Add New E-mail Address' button.
3. If you are asked, choose the option to 'Create an e-mail address at one of my own hosted domain names' and click 'Continue'.
4. In section 1. type the first part of the email address you would like to have.
5. In section 2. choose the domain you would like to create an address for.
6. In section 3. check the address is correct and then press 'Continue'.
7. Type in the security code in the box provided and click 'Continue'.
8. The final page offers you the chance to review all the appropriate settings and also offers you a walkthrough of how to add your new address into popular e-mail clients should you need it.
9. Click the 'Continue' button and you have now finished. You will now need to add the account to your email client.
To Remove a Domain e-mail address please follow the 'Remove a Freeola500 address' section above.
Please Note: To send Freeola email over our smtp server (whether you use Freeola500 or your own Domain addresses) you must be connected to the Internet via a Freeola connection. If you attempt to send emails when connected via another provider you will receive errors.
