Adding e-mail addresses to your Freeola account


Welcome to the Freeola Internet customer support pages. This guide is designed to help with adding or removing an e-mail address within MyFreeola. For more internet help topics please visit our main Support Page.

Everything to do with email on your Freeola account is administered via MyFreeola account. So whether you wish to add a free Freeola500 email address (such as bob@spursfans.com) or add an address at your own domain name (such as myname@mydomain.com) you should use log into this section of Freeola.com.


For Freeola500 Addresses

To Add a new Freeola500 address:

1. Log into your MyFreeola account.

2. Click the Create New E-mail Addresses link from the left-hand navigation.

3. On the next page select the top option, Create an email address at one of the Freeola500 domain names before clicking Continue.

4. In section 1, type the first part of the e-mail address you would like to have. For example, if you would like the address bob@spursfans.com you would enter bob within this field.

5. In section 2, you are required to choose the second part of your new email address, otherwise known as the extension. Freeola offers up to 500 different extensions through it's Freeola500 list, all of these are sorted into sections in order to help navigation. Once you have found a section you are happy with you will need to select this from the left-hand box, the right box will allow you to select the extension.

6. Section 3 shows the complete email address. If you are happy with it then you can click Continue. At this stage you are able to edit both sections of the address. Please Note: Once you have confirmed you are happy with the e-mail address you are not able to change this.

7. The next screen will ask if you would like to use this address for e-mail, web site or both. This page will also allow you to sign up to the Freeola E-mail Bulletin.

8. Type in the correct security code into the box provided and click Continue.

9. The final page offers you the chance to review all the appropriate settings for your new e-mail address and also offers you a walkthrough of how to add your new address into popular e-mail clients should you need it. If you require any additional services with this new address such as Email Freedom or VIP Hosting this page will allow easy sign-up for these.

10. Click the Finish button to complete the process. You will now need to add the account to your e-mail client in order to begin sending and receiving message, guides on doing this can be found within the Freeola Help & Support Centre.


To Remove a Freeola500 address:

1. Log into your MyFreeola account. Once logged in click the View/Edit E-mail Addresses link from the left-hand navigation menu.

2. The new page will list all current e-mail addresses within your MyFreeola account. Click on the Settings & Features button next to the address you wish to delete.

3. Near the bottom of this page will be a pink button that reads Delete this e-mail address.

4. A pop-up will ask if you are sure you wish to delete the account, if you are then press the OK button.

5. The email address has now been deleted and a confirmation page will be displayed. Press Continue to return to the e-mail addresses page.


For Domain Name Addresses

To Add a new Domain e-mail address:

1. Log into your MyFreeola account.

2. Click the Create New E-mail Addresses link from the left-hand navigation.

3. On the next page select the top option, Create an e-mail address at one of my own hosted domain names before clicking Continue.

4. In section 1 type the first part of the e-mail address you would like to have. For example, if you would like the address bob@spursfans.com you would enter bob within this field.

5. In section 2 you are required to choose the second part of your new email address, otherwise known as the extension. For this choose the domain you would like to create an address for.
