Whenever you connect to the internet to look at web pages or send and collect emails, you are sending and receiving data through your internet connection, and downloading big film files can mean your data usage adds up. Luckily all Freeola Broadband packages have generous data usage allowances (our massive 300GB allowing substantially more than many so-called 'uncapped' packages), but if you like to download from the internet a lot, you'll be keen to know how much you have downloaded to make sure you don't exceed your monthly allowance.

Freeola Broadband customers can now keep perfect track of their data usage. We have recently updated the MyFreeola Control Panel to give you improved information about your broadband data usage. Full details for your current month's usage will be displayed and updated daily, and this will build into a monthly record in future. If you do happen to go over your monthly broadband usage allowance, don't worry because excess usage is charged at just 80p per GB (or part thereof) for the first 5 GB, and 50p per GB thereafter.
